Eddie Lewis and Living Rhythms at Cezanne Jazz Club

As you probably already know, most of Eddie Lewis’ performances are private events and of the public stuff he does, very little of it is jazz. This is especially true for his original music. So this is your opportunity to catch him performing his own music with some very talented musicians.

Cezanne Jazz Club
4100 Montrose Blvd.
Houston, Texas
77006 USA

Saturday March 19

Eddie Lewis – Trumpet
Ernesto Vega – Clarinet and Saxes
Joe Locascio – Piano
Anthony Brock – Bass
Osama Raad – Drums

The first set begins at 9:00 pm and there is a $10 cover.

Feel free to say hello if you make it out!

Note to Students: You know how much we stress the importance of listening in your lessons. Some of the most important listening you can do is at your teachers live performances. The more familiar you are with his sound, his trumpet playing and his musicianship in general, the better you will understand what he tells you in your lessons. Until you truly know and understand the source of your information, the things he tells you will always be just words…without a frame of reference.

We encourage you to attend as many live performances as you can afford, but it is even more important to attend your teacher’s. Not for his benefit, but for your own.

Eddie- It was great. Gifted group of musicians. Good to see you again and hope to find you playing other styles in other locals in the future. My friend enjoyed it thoroughly also. Thanks for a superb night.
